Risk Assessment & Flight Planning
We assess weather conditions, airspace restrictions, and prepare a risk mitigation plan accordingly. For sites near Changi or Seletar Airport, we use a Leviathan tether system when required. If your project requires a CAAS Activity Permit, we'll apply for it as well.

Drone Inspection
Our certified UAPL pilots use DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise drones with high-resolution cameras to capture HD façade imagery. After reviewing the 100% façade inspection report, will commence a 10% close up inspection to capture even the smallest defects. Thermal imaging can be used to identify water ingress, insulation gaps, and abnormal heat patterns.

Data Processing & Defect Mapping
Captured imagery is organised and reviewed to identify façade defects. Photos are categorised by façade elevation, description and severity of the defect and follow-up actions/recommendations.

Processing & Report Delivery
We deliver a report that follows TR-78 (BCA PFI) requirements. It includes high-resolution imagery, annotated defect locations, façade condition findings, and thermal data where required. Delivered in 3 days.

How long does it take to receive the permit
Approximately 2-3 weeks upon submission.
What factors affect permit application duration?

Does your drone façade inspection include a report?
Yes, it comes with a report that follows the TR-78 (BCA PFI regime) format.
How long does it take to receive a Facade Inspection report?
APS delivers a report within 3 working days after the shoot.

Drone inspections can support building maintenance records and compliance-related inspections, especially for façade inspections under the BCA Periodic Façade Inspection (PFI) regime. However, APS does not claim that drone inspections directly increase resale value or reduce insurance premiums, as these depend on factors outside the inspection itself.
What is a tether system and why is it required?
A tether system is a physical cable that connects the drone to a ground station, preventing flyaways and improving flight safety. It is required for certain restricted airspace operations, such as areas near Changi and Seletar Airport.
